As the foundation of Christian life, baptism is a time of joy and celebration for candidates, parents, godparents and the whole church family. If someone you know and love has died, of whatever cause, a small funeral, led by a Church of England minister can still be held in church, in a churchyard, by a graveside, or at a crematorium. Advice on arranging a funeral can be found on the Church of England website. A Church of England funeral is available to everyone, giving support before, during and after the service, for as long as it’s needed.
